The Jazz and Gastronomy festival, organized by the magnificent Hôtel-Restaurant Cazaudehore La Forestière in St Germain en Laye, takes place from May 8 to 11, 2025.

Cazaudehore, thanks to Philippe Cazaudehore, has been combining jazz with gastronomy and savoir-recevoir for 20 years.

Like its jazz concerts, over the years this place has become a not-to-be-missed address, not only for the quality of its setting and service, but also for its programming of the best of traditional jazz, the kind that swings and makes us happy.

Since jazz in Paris has more or less deserted the cellars of St Germain, it’s in St Germain en Laye that you should, in May and all year round, take a breath of fresh air and listen to jazz while enjoying the finest and tastiest dishes in this idyllic setting.

(Please note, dear attentive readers, that my enthusiasm is dictated solely by experience and memories: indeed, over half a century ago, this establishment was already a favorite of my father, then posted abroad, when he returned to the headquarters of the car company that employed him. And yours truly, then a teenager and a guest on these occasions, experienced his first gastronomic thrills here).

For twenty years now, Cazaudehore has been organizing jazz concerts that regularly sell out, thanks to the programming of top-class musicians. In fact, you can regularly listen to these contemporary talents on Couleurs Jazz Radio.

200 concerts later, over 20,000 spectators have enjoyed these unforgettable experiences, during which several hundred musicians have performed at Cazaudehore la Forestière.

Dany Doriz, from the famous Caveau de la Huchette, is honored here, for it was he who instilled in Philippe Cazaudehore the idea of organizing jazz concerts in his establishment.

And they still do!

It’s this connection between the rich hours of St-Germain-des-Prés and the gentle way of life of St-Germain-en-Laye (30 minutes door-to-door by RER A then Tramway T 13 stop Camp des Loges opposite Cazaudehore) that the first edition of the Jazzaudehore Swing Summit celebrates today.

It runs from Thursday May 8 to Sunday May 11, 2025.
