Judith Owen sells out every time she appears in Paris. Beyond communication, word-of-mouth works. Audiences are enthusiastic about the energy that emerges from each of her shows.

Judith Owen comes back to Paris this time with her incredible Gentlemen Callers, on December 8 for a unique concert.

Come On & Get It“, her latest album, is still in the “Sélection Couleurs Jazz Radio“. We’re back to the basics of jazz that swings, that invites you to move, that makes you happy. It’s also a vibrant tribute to the liberated jazz and blues ladies of the 1940s and 1950s.

Women,” she says, “who had the courage to assume and sing of their desire at a time when they were expected to be erased.”
Judith Owen is accompanied on this album, as she is on stage at New Morning, by the finest musicians from New Orleans, her adopted home where she has lived for several years.

Her album was conceived, imagined and recorded there. Her band offers her the authentic sound of the city. Judith Owen is a bomb of energy. She stands out, magnificent and powerful!

The British singer, pianist and singer-songwriter has released twelve albums, acclaimed by us and our peers, and collaborated with artists such as Cassandra Wilson, K.D Lang and Keb’Mo.

Swing, warmth, joy, sex too? and a little melancholy.

On December 8, The Place to be is at the New Morning! New Orleans comes to town.

Come On & Get It….Judith Owen & Her Gentlemen Callers are back in town!
