Didier Lockwood 4tet in Marciac – August 8, 2017

By 23 July 2017September 9th, 2017No Comments

Didier Lockwood returns once again to Marciac in quartet with strong companions of play:

André Ceccarelli, Drums,

Sylvain Luc, Guitar,

Diego Imbert, Doublebass

This great musician, virtuoso and insatiable, has succeeded in printing his own style, synthesizing the legacy left by his predecessors (Grappelli, Warlop, Ponty), including his passion for rock music. If a large part of his career is marked by the seal of fusion jazz, it is also a delicate interpreter of ballads. All the spectators of his concerts will tell you, the terms that best sum up his temperament remain the qualifiers “virtuoso and lyric”. He comes to present us exclusively his new quartet deeply jazz.

Nice moment of happiness to come around 10:15PM

The video shows Didier Lockwood playing  in 2014 with other serious fellows: Médéric Collignon, Manu Katché, Antonio Faraò and Darryl Hall. He then celebrated his 40th year of career.

Especially as in the first part the audience could make their ears by listening (09:00PM)Richard Gallliano

After, Jazz lovers and the night owls will end this evening (which will begin at 11:30 pm) with a magical quintet, that of Emile Parisien, one of the most gifted and amazing musicians of the present generation. The others will always be able to break bread.
