It’s not every day that the Trio Grande from Liège take to the road for Paris. And yet, on December 5, they’ll be there in full force with their blowing and percussive instruments, to bring a piece of their talent, a bit of their “plat pays”, and all the energy of a Big Band, just before the festive Xmas season.

Trio Grande, aka “the world’s smallest big band”, is celebrating thirty-two years of musical complicity.

You’ll love their jazz without even realizing it, and that’s that!

The energy they exude is infectious, so much so that you’ll no doubt leave your comfortable seats to sway, groove and move to rhythms that aren’t exactly binary.

Humor, letting go, the joy of living and sharing are guaranteed… If not, refund your money! These days, €12 is rare (!) in this acoustically superb venue with a warm welcome (a convivial refreshment area is open to you, so you can chat with your neighbors and the musicians over a small Belgian beer or a recyclable plastic glass filled with a little wine from down under. Paris Fresh water will also be served for those who want it).

All in all! It’s an evening to lift your spirits, sharpen your hearing, and make you feel both joyful and tender.

You’ll be able to savor Trio Grande‘s highly infectious lyrical fever through their carefully-crafted compositions, admirably served by the inventiveness and humor of the three protagonists (plus guest?).

Trio Grande is a hymn to life and beauty, a thumbing of the nose at the atmosphere of our society in these leaden times…
