Alone in the studio with his instruments and a tape recorder Russian horn virtuoso Arkady Shilkloper takes us on a colorful ride in his imaginary mountains. It starts out real funky with a very urban overdubbed horn choir, then some kind of mountain shepherd’s call takes us out in the country, then comes a two horns call and response…
It’s physically challenging and outright funny from beginning to end.
It’s a must!
