The virtuoso trumpeter Itamar Borochov comes back with his “Boomerang” by telling his story, starting from Lower Manhattan, through Israel and Uzbekistan returning from North Africa …

All colors of modern Jazz, through the Hard Bop and influenced by traditional and sacred music of all these countries.

One way to bring together the three monotheistic religions for the best: sharing music!

Itamar Borochov says: ‘”There is the Divine in the world. This is something to which we must aspire. Perfection is a reflection of the Divine. That’s the role of virtuosity after all. Being there in the middle of a dirty street and aspire to greatness. Because wherever there is grandeur, Bird Miles or Coltrane, your experience is more intense, it can be upsetting, you feel life on a deeper level”

Le quartet is composed of :

Itamar Borochov – Trumpet / Vocals (on Wanderer Song)

Michaël King – Piano

Avri Borochov – Bass / Oud (on Ça Va Bien & Wanderer Song)
Jay Sawyer – Drums
Guest : Yisraël Borochov – Jumbush and Vocals on Wanderer Song
