{"id":47707,"date":"2026-10-07T10:40:33","date_gmt":"2026-10-07T09:40:33","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/couleursjazz.fr\/?p=47707"},"modified":"2026-10-07T10:44:36","modified_gmt":"2026-10-07T09:44:36","slug":"emile-parisien-floating","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/couleursjazz.fr\/fr\/emile-parisien-floating\/","title":{"rendered":"Emile Parisien &#8211; Floating"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><strong>Pour ce nouvel opus, Emile Parisien a r\u00e9uni un quartet avec lequel il avait eu l\u2019occasion de se produire lors d\u2019une carte blanche \u00e0 Paris puis \u00e0 deux autres reprises. <\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">Un groupe o\u00f9 il retrouve <strong>Yaron Herman<\/strong> \u2014 avec lequel il s\u2019est produit a moult reprises et qui l\u2019avait invit\u00e9 sur un de ses enregistrements \u2014 et o\u00f9 il invite deux musiciens qu\u2019il admire depuis longtemps\u00a0: la contrebassiste australienne <strong>Linda May Han Oh<\/strong> et le percussionniste indien <strong>Prabhu Edouard<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">On est donc l\u00e0 tr\u00e8s loin de l\u2019esth\u00e9tique du quartet \u00ab\u00a0historique\u00a0\u00bb du saxophoniste, ne serait-ce que parce qu\u2019il partage les compositions avec <strong>Herman<\/strong> \u2014 entre autres sur le th\u00e8me final interpr\u00e9t\u00e9e en duo avec le pianiste \u2014 et, pour un th\u00e8me, la contrebassiste. Et cette nouvelle esth\u00e9tique se manifeste \u00e9galement par l\u2019arriv\u00e9e d\u2019un musicien qui apporte les sonorit\u00e9s in\u00e9dites que sont les percussions indiennes, instrumentales et vocales.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">On sent d\u00e8s le premier morceau que <strong>Parisien<\/strong> tend ici vers davantage de s\u00e9r\u00e9nit\u00e9 et vers un lyrisme plus apais\u00e9 que dans ses pr\u00e9c\u00e9dents enregistrements. La magnifique sonorit\u00e9 de son saxophone soprano \u2014 un instrument sur lequel il a depuis longtemps affirm\u00e9 une forte personnalit\u00e9 \u2014 reste \u00e9videmment un des \u00e9l\u00e9ments majeurs de l\u2019esth\u00e9tique de ce nouvel opus mais la contribution de ses acolytes est \u00e9galement d\u00e9terminante.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><strong>Herman<\/strong> est un m\u00e9lodiste accompli et son phras\u00e9 d\u2019une \u00e9l\u00e9gance magistrale illumine nombre de morceaux.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">La contrebasse de <strong>Linda May Han Oh<\/strong> soutient l\u2019ensemble d\u2019un drive puissant avec une sonorit\u00e9 somptueuse qu\u2019elle d\u00e9ploie entre autres sur un morceau en solo absolu.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">Quant \u00e0 <strong>Prabhu Edouard<\/strong>, ses percussions coloristes donnent au groupe une teinte originale et remarquable.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">Au total c\u2019est donc un fort bel enregistrement d\u2019un groupe qui a commenc\u00e9 \u00e0 se produire en tourn\u00e9e et qui a convaincu de nombreux publics qui, comme en juillet dernier \u00e0 Souillac en Jazz (chronique ici m\u00eame) , lui ont r\u00e9serv\u00e9 une ovation debout, parfaitement m\u00e9rit\u00e9e.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><strong><em>Floating<\/em><\/strong>, Hit <strong>Couleurs Jazz<\/strong> et <strong>Best of the Month<\/strong> est un album sorti sous le label ACT, le 25 septembre 2026.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" style=\"border-radius: 12px;\" src=\"https:\/\/open.spotify.com\/embed\/album\/0hezZylj1jkluVNBAztyKX?utm_source=generator&amp;si=2548dce430b248c7\" width=\"100%\" height=\"352\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\" data-testid=\"embed-iframe\" data-mce-fragment=\"1\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">Musiciens\u00a0:<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><strong>Emile Parisien<\/strong>\u00a0: sax soprano<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><strong>Yaron Herman<\/strong>\u00a0: piano<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><strong>Linda May Han Oh<\/strong>\u00a0: contrebasse<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><strong>Prabhu Edouard<\/strong>\u00a0: tablas, percussions<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><strong><em>Floating<\/em><\/strong>,<span style=\"color: #ff0000;
