priori il y a du beau monde.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">Et avant m\u00eame de poser le CD sur la platine je salive \u00e0 l\u2019id\u00e9e d\u2019entendre ensemble <strong>Baptiste<\/strong> <strong>Herbin<\/strong>, <strong>Amina Mezaache<\/strong>, <strong>C\u00e9line Bonacina<\/strong> et <strong>Antoine Banville<\/strong> en compagnie de quatre inconnus (pour moi) mais qui ne peuvent pas \u00eatre par hasard en si bonne compagnie.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">De fait, l\u2019\u00e9coute de l\u2019album \u2014 d\u00e8s les premi\u00e8res mesures du premier morceau \u2014 confirme cette impression et comble cette attente.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">Comme on a coutume de dire\u00a0: \u00ab\u00a0C\u2019est du lourd\u00a0!\u00a0\u00bb.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">Mais rien de pesant dans cette sonorit\u00e9 d\u2019ensemble charnue et fluide port\u00e9e par des rythmes entra\u00eenants et chaloup\u00e9s, dus entre autres \u00e0 un tandem batterie\/percussions d\u2019une efficacit\u00e9 redoutable.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">Les treize compositions collectives \u2014 \u00e0 huit, ce n\u2019est pas courant \u2014 poss\u00e8dent une homog\u00e9n\u00e9it\u00e9 stylistique oscillant entre le funk, une world-music raffin\u00e9e et un jazz plein de verve qu\u2019anime un groove enthousiasmant.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">Les sonorit\u00e9s chatoyantes m\u00ealent habilement les timbres acoustiques des souffleurs\/souffleuses et \u00e9lectriques de la guitare, de la basse \u00e9lectrique de <strong>Beno\u00eet Artuphel<\/strong>, le leader \u2014 qui donne son nom \u00e0 la formation \u2014 et du Fender Rhodes et elles sont port\u00e9es par des arrangements inventifs, \u00e0 la fois limpides et sophistiqu\u00e9s au niveau m\u00e9lodique et harmonique.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">Quant aux solos que prennent tour \u00e0 tour les protagonistes de ce projet in\u00e9dit, ils sont p\u00e9tris d\u2019une inventivit\u00e9 joyeuse, jamais d\u00e9monstratifs, et passionnants \u00e0 suivre.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">Bref, voici l\u00e0 un premier opus enthousiasmant d\u2019une formation qu\u2019on a h\u00e2te d\u2019entendre <em>live on stage<\/em> tant cette formidable s\u00e9ance en studio \u2014 qui ne peut laisser indiff\u00e9rent quiconque poss\u00e8de une paire d\u2019oreilles ouvertes et de mains et de pieds pour taper le rythme \u2014\u00a0 fait attendre des suites o\u00f9 l\u2019on pourra voir ce beau monde nous communiquer en direct sa vitalit\u00e9, son plaisir de jouer et son sens du collectif.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" style=\"border-radius: 12px;\"
