Plus tard il forma le quartet ScoLoHoFo o\u00f9 c\u2019est la guitare de John Scofied qui lui donnait la r\u00e9plique, second\u00e9e par Dave Holland et Al Foster. Plus r\u00e9cemment il avait rendu hommage \u00e0 Paul Motian en compagnie du guitariste danois Jakob Bro.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">La guitare de <strong>Julian Lage<\/strong>, qui figure sur le pr\u00e9sent enregistrement se place donc dans une lign\u00e9e prestigieuse et elle constitue un excellent choix du fait de sa sonorit\u00e9 tant\u00f4t duveteuse tant\u00f4t acidul\u00e9e et de son phras\u00e9 fluide qui se marient magnifiquement avec le moelleux des saxophones du leader.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">La guitare est ainsi utilis\u00e9e non seulement comme un instrument harmonique mais avant tout comme une voix m\u00e9lodique et les lignes de la six-cordes se m\u00ealent fr\u00e9quemment \u00e0 celles des saxophones en des contrepoints savoureux.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-46342\" src=\"https:\/\/couleursjazz.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/06\/2855_PF1_Joe-Lovano.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"850\" height=\"595\" srcset=\"https:\/\/couleursjazz.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/06\/2855_PF1_Joe-Lovano.jpg 850w, https:\/\/couleursjazz.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/06\/2855_PF1_Joe-Lovano-300x210.jpg 300w, https:\/\/couleursjazz.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/06\/2855_PF1_Joe-Lovano-768x538.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 850px) 100vw, 850px\" \/>Cinq compositions de <strong>Lovano<\/strong> constituent le r\u00e9pertoire, compl\u00e9t\u00e9es par le \u00ab\u00a0<em>First Song<\/em>\u00a0\u00bb de Charlie Haden et le \u00ab\u00a0<em>Lady Day<\/em>\u00a0\u00bb de Wayne Shorter.
