Il faut dire que <strong>Kovalcheck<\/strong> s\u2019est assur\u00e9 la compagnie d\u2019un batteur v\u00e9t\u00e9ran qui lui apporte un soutien d\u2019une tonicit\u00e9 et d\u2019un raffinement incomparables\u00a0: le grand <strong>Jeff Hamilton<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">Ce dernier d\u00e9ploie sur son instrument une impressionnante vari\u00e9t\u00e9 de couleurs et de rythmes, ce qui fait de lui le point de mire du trio sur plusieurs morceaux. Quant au contrebassiste (dont j\u2019ignorais \u00e9galement tout) il remplit sa fonction rythmique et harmonique avec une grande assurance et des qualit\u00e9s m\u00e9lodiques certaines qu\u2019il exprime entre autres dans ses solos et dans son jeu \u00e0 l\u2019archet. Le r\u00e9pertoire qu\u2019explorent ces trois excellents musiciens comprend quelques standards mais surtout des compositions du leader, en partie marqu\u00e9es au coin du blues comme le sugg\u00e8re le titre de l\u2019album.
