Wind a collabor\u00e9 \u00e0 de nombreuses r\u00e9alisations tant en musique classique qu\u2019en jazz o\u00f9 il a enregistr\u00e9 un impressionnant nombre de disques en sideman comme en leader. <\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">Si on a pu l\u2019entendre au c\u00f4t\u00e9 de musiciens du calibre des fr\u00e8res Brecker, Larry Goldings ou John Scofield, c\u2019est dans un style d\u2019un classicisme assum\u00e9 qu\u2019il a choisi de se produire sur ce nouvel opus.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">Il y retrouve la clarinettiste <strong>Anat Cohen<\/strong> et le batteur <strong>Matt Wilson<\/strong>, deux musiciens avec lesquels il est familier, \u00a0et il invite pour la premi\u00e8re fois le pianiste star <strong>Kenny Barron<\/strong> avec lequel il r\u00eavait depuis longtemps de collaborer.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">Sur des compositions de sa plume et quelques standards il n\u2019est donc pas \u00e9tonnant qu\u2019il laisse \u00e0 ce dernier une large place pour s\u2019exprimer, entre autres sur un th\u00e8me d\u00e9but\u00e9 en trio o\u00f9 le bassiste arbore un somptueux jeu \u00e0 l\u2019archet.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><strong>Barron<\/strong> est effectivement particuli\u00e8rement \u00e0 l\u2019honneur sur un de ses rares enregistrements en sideman et il contribue amplement \u00e0 la r\u00e9ussite de ce projet par la richesse harmonique de son jeu, la beaut\u00e9 de sa sonorit\u00e9 de piano et la pertinence de ses interventions solistes.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">Mais il ne faudrait pas oublier <strong>Anat Cohen<\/strong>, l\u2019autre soliste principale dont la sonorit\u00e9 tant\u00f4t lumineuse tant\u00f4t plus duveteuse fait merveille aussi bien dans son exposition des th\u00e8mes que dans ses solos.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">Quant \u00e0 <strong>Martin Wind<\/strong>, il porte ce projet avec une assise in\u00e9branlable et un timbre de basse somptueux avec lequel <strong>Matt Wilson<\/strong> forme une paire rythmique de tout premier ordre.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">Voici donc un fort bel enregistrement qui d\u00e9livre une musique interpr\u00e9t\u00e9e avec ferveur par quatre instrumentistes chevronn\u00e9s totalement d\u00e9vou\u00e9s
