avec saxophone qu\u2019il avait jadis explor\u00e9e avec Joe Lovano et d\u00e9j\u00e0 Brian Blade, John Patitucci donne la pleine mesure de ses talents de bassiste acoustique et \u00e9lectrique et de compositeur. <\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">Remarqu\u00e9 depuis longtemps en tant que sideman dans de nombreux contextes, des groupes de Chick Corea au dernier quartet de Wayne Shorter, <strong>Patitucci<\/strong> affirme r\u00e9guli\u00e8rement sa capacit\u00e9 \u00e0 conduire des formations en tant que leader et compositeur.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">Second\u00e9 ici par deux musiciens avec lesquels il est familier, il propose neuf compositions de sa plume et une version inspir\u00e9e du <em>House of Jade<\/em>\u00a0de Shorter.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">Que ce soit au sax t\u00e9nor \u2014 sur lequel il affiche tant\u00f4t une pugnacit\u00e9 impressionnante tant\u00f4t un timbre somptueusement m\u00e9lodieux \u2014 au saxophone soprano ou \u00e0 la clarinette basse, <strong>Chris Potter<\/strong> occupe ici une place centrale aussi bien dans l\u2019exposition des th\u00e8mes que dans les solos.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><strong>Patitucci <\/strong>alterne la magnifique sonorit\u00e9 de sa contrebasse \u2014 qui s\u2019octroie de remarquables solos \u2014 et celle, plus moelleuse, de sa basse \u00e9lectrique \u00e0 six cordes qui lui permet des incursions dans l\u2019aigu.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">Quant \u00e0 <strong>Brian Blade<\/strong>, son accompagnement est d\u2019une finesse incomparable et d\u2019une pertinence de tous les instants.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">C\u2019est donc l\u00e0 un fort beau trio r\u00e9unissant trois musiciens qui n\u2019ont plus rien \u00e0 prouver et qui se contentent de manifester un plaisir de jouer qui ne peut manquer de convaincre ceux qui les suivent depuis des
