La guitare \u00e9lectrique d\u2019<strong>Eric L\u00f6hrer <\/strong>et l\u2019orgue de <strong>Guillaume Naud<\/strong> en font en effet la d\u00e9monstration sur plusieurs titres. <strong>Emil Spanyi<\/strong> au piano et <strong>Andrea Michelutti<\/strong> \u00e0 la batterie, compl\u00e8tent ce quartet de haut vol. Quartet qui se transforme en quintet sur deux titres, avec en guest l\u2019accord\u00e9oniste <strong>Marc Berthoumieux.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">Sur les dix titres propos\u00e9s, sept sont des compositions de <strong>Jean Bardy.<\/strong> Dans les trois standards repris par le quartet, on retrouve le fameux <em>City Of\u00a0 New Orleans<\/em> de Steve Goodman (titre devenu c\u00e9l\u00e8bre en France avec\u00a0la chanson \u00ab\u00a0Salut les amoureux\u00a0\u00bb de Joe Dassin). C\u2019est un disque de facture classique dans ses arrangements, tr\u00e8s pr\u00e9cis dans son interpr\u00e9tation, d\u2019une grande puret\u00e9 stylistique, et d\u2019une coh\u00e9sion musicale remarquable. On l\u2019\u00e9coute avec un vrai et grand bonheur.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">Un disque r\u00e9ussi est un disque o\u00f9 le plaisir musical entre ceux qui jouent et ceux qui \u00e9coutent est partag\u00e9\u00a0; c\u2019est le cas avec cet album. Emotions subtiles, sourires complices, aucune \u00ab\u00a0prise de t\u00eate\u00a0\u00bb, on y est vraiment bien dans ce\u00a0<strong><em>Caf\u00e9 des Anges<\/em><\/strong> &#8211; le genre de \u00ab\u00a0caf\u00e9\u00a0\u00bb o\u00f9 l\u2019on retourne volontiers. Enfin, et ce n\u2019est pas rien, sur deux titres, Marc Berthoumieux apporte sa touche pleine de sensibilit\u00e9, avec un son qui nous va droit au c\u0153ur.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">L\u2019enregistrement est de tr\u00e8s bonne qualit\u00e9 et bien \u00e9quilibr\u00e9.
