Son jeu de piano est \u00e9videmment davantage mis en avant dans ce contexte et il s\u2019y montre d\u2019une richesse et d\u2019une vivacit\u00e9 fort convaincante, alternant les passages rythmiques et ceux o\u00f9 son toucher d\u2019une grande d\u00e9licatesse fait merveille. <\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">Les cinq instrumentistes qui l\u2019accompagnent poss\u00e8dent chacun une sonorit\u00e9 sp\u00e9cifique et l\u2019on sent que <strong>Kathrine Windfeld<\/strong> a compos\u00e9 ses morceaux en pensant \u00e0 eux. <\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">Les trois souffleurs proposent par ailleurs des solos d\u2019une grande qualit\u00e9 dont on suit les \u00e9volutions avec un plaisir toujours renouvel\u00e9.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">Quant \u00e0 la rythmique \u2014 qui est la m\u00eame que celle de son big band \u2014 \u00a0elle soutient l\u2019ensemble d\u2019une fa\u00e7on \u00e0 la fois tonique et raffin\u00e9e. <\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">C\u2019est donc un r\u00e9pertoire d\u2019une grande modernit\u00e9 et d\u2019un classicisme assum\u00e9 qui allie les moments r\u00eaveurs et les plages plus vigoureuses qui se succ\u00e8dent avec un sens des contrastes parfaitement convaincant. <\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><strong>Windfeld<\/strong> est une compositrice de premier ordre et son habilet\u00e9 \u00e0 marier les timbres et les couleurs sonores \u2014 d\u00e9j\u00e0 remarquable dans ses enregistrements en big band \u2014 se retrouve dans ce disque en formation r\u00e9duite, qu\u2019elle fait par moments sonner comme un grand ensemble.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">Une totale r\u00e9ussite, donc, de la part d\u2019une
