Part II (Ballad)"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-size: 18pt;\">Artiste : <strong>Phil Woods<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-size: 18pt;\">Morceau : <strong>Part II (Ballad)<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-size: 18pt;\">CD : <strong>Rights Of Swing<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">Compos\u00e9 et arrang\u00e9 par <strong>Phil Woods<\/strong>, supervis\u00e9 par Nat Hentoff, interpr\u00e9t\u00e9 par une brochette\u00a0 d\u2019\u00e9toiles du jazz, le morceau <strong><em>Part II<\/em><\/strong>, sous-titr\u00e9 <strong><em>Ballad<\/em><\/strong>, s\u2019ins\u00e8re dans ce qui pourrait \u00eatre un concerto de jazz pour vents\u00a0: <strong><em>Rights Of Swing<\/em><\/strong>.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">Quand le mot Ballad n\u2019est absolument pas d\u00e9sappropri\u00e9, le morceau s\u2019ouvre sur une harmonie d\u2019ensemble mezzo-voce m\u00e9tronom\u00e9e par les touches de <strong>Tommy Flanagan<\/strong> avant que ne se lance une magistrale m\u00e9lop\u00e9e due \u00e0 la trompette de <strong>Benny Bailey<\/strong>, qui expose le th\u00e8me principal.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">Toujours soutenu par le coll\u00e8ge diaphane des vents avant que le relai soit pris par l\u2019alto de <strong>Woods<\/strong>, qui de charme en staccati parfaitement Woodsiens transmets la plume au piano de <strong>Tommy Flanagan<\/strong>reprenant le th\u00e8me comme en sous-texte avant de c\u00e9der \u00e0 son tour la place de soliste au cor de <strong>Julius Watkins<\/strong> dont la sonorit\u00e9 \u00e2pre et aigrelette \u00e0 la fois fait regretter encore son trop grand effacement dans le jazz.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">Puis \u00e0 nouveau l\u2019orchestre, comme un mini big-band.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">C\u2019est une aventure de partition classique dont la folie se conjugue par une imp\u00e9tuosit\u00e9 qui ne d\u00e9passe jamais le comma \u00e9crit.
