La pianoless on connait, sans batterie pour des moments plus intimistes on connait aussi, et sans contrebasse c\u2019est parfois arriv\u00e9. Mais sans les trois\u2026C\u2019est plus rare\u00a0!<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">Si les quartets de cuivres ou de vents existent en musique classique, ils se font plus rares en jazz. A ce titre, le <strong>Possible(s) Quartet<\/strong> innove donc. Juste un petit b\u00e9mol, mais de grande taille (sic\u00a0!) sur cet enregistrement puisque les quatre premiers morceaux invitent la pianiste <strong>Sophia Domancich<\/strong> \u00e0 venir broder autour des \u00e9lucubrations \u00e9oliennes des quatre comp\u00e8res, par quelques touches qui sonneraient les heures d\u2019un rappel \u00e0 l\u2019ordre musical.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">Ce quartet \u00ab\u00a0de chambre\u00a0\u00bb tourne depuis une dizaine d\u2019ann\u00e9es et nous a propos\u00e9 aussi une relecture des musiques de David Bowie \u00e0 quatre souffles (<em>Songs For Bowie<\/em> \u2013 <em>2019<\/em>).<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">L\u2019\u00e9criture et le jeu sont introspectifs et jubilatoires en m\u00eame temps, offrant des plages de solistes dans des chorus d\u2019ensemble qui eux-m\u00eames se \u00ab\u00a0solistisent\u00a0\u00bb. Bref, un vrai v\u00e9ritable renouveau de la sonorit\u00e9 cuivresque en mati\u00e8re de jazz dont se payer de mots ne vaut aucunement une \u00e9coute attentive de ces fabriqueurs d\u2019atmosph\u00e8re.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-37239\" src=\"https:\/\/couleursjazz.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/04\/pos-4ttet1.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"850\" height=\"637\" srcset=\"https:\/\/couleursjazz.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/04\/pos-4ttet1.png 850w, https:\/\/couleursjazz.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/04\/pos-4ttet1-300x225.png 300w, https:\/\/couleursjazz.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/04\/pos-4ttet1-768x576.png 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 850px) 100vw, 850px\" \/>On ne sait si le mot acad\u00e9misme pourrait \u00eatre employ\u00e9 sous la forme in ou out, mais une chose est s\u00fbre, il s\u2019agit bien d\u2019un parcours de d\u00e9fricheurs ou de d\u00e9chiffreurs\u2026<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">Suavit\u00e9 de la clarinette basse et clinquant des embouchures, appel du\u00a0 large du trombone, perplexit\u00e9 de la hanche, rigueur des trompettes, tout se retrouve dans les ex\u00e9cutions d\u2019ensemble. Que voil\u00e0 une palette audacieuse qui n\u2019enl\u00e8ve rien \u00e0 l\u2019expressivit\u00e9.
