{"id":35688,"date":"2023-01-04T11:50:57","date_gmt":"2023-01-04T10:50:57","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/couleursjazz.fr\/?p=35688"},"modified":"2023-01-04T11:43:47","modified_gmt":"2023-01-04T10:43:47","slug":"richie-vitale-slow-groove","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/couleursjazz.fr\/fr\/richie-vitale-slow-groove\/","title":{"rendered":"Richie Vitale \u2013 Slow Groove"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><strong>Encore un dont on ne parle pas et que l\u2019on peut pourtant r\u00e9guli\u00e8rement rencontrer dans les caves New-Yorkaises, le trompettiste Richie Vitale<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">Trompettiste, bugliste, adepte parfois de la trompette \u00e0 palettes \u00e0 l\u2019instar du regrett\u00e9 Claudio Roditi avec lequel la comparaison ne se limite \u00e0 l\u2019instrument, <strong>Richie Vitale<\/strong> a \u00e9t\u00e9 soliste avec le Vanguard Orchestra, le\u00a0<u>Toshiko Akiyoshi Big<\/u>\u00a0Band, le Count Basie Band et le\u00a0Duke <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Ellington_Band\">Ellington Band<\/a>, auxquels il faut ajouter ses participations \u00e0 l\u2019octet de Chris Byars et sa collaboration avec Frank Wess.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">Poursuivant son chemin en tant que leader, il signe ici un album avec le quintet qui l\u2019accompagne habituellement sur les parterres New-yorkais, et au sein duquel on note la pr\u00e9sence remarqu\u00e9e de <strong>Frank Basile<\/strong> au saxophone baryton. L\u2019alliance trompette, sax baryton\u00a0: voil\u00e0 qui rappelle des souvenirs\u2026<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">Un phras\u00e9 coupant, tout droit sorti de l\u2019aci\u00e9rie, et des volutes majestueuses servent la pr\u00e9cision technique du trompettiste \u00e9paul\u00e9 non moins majestueusement par son comp\u00e8re au baryton, inspir\u00e9 et tourbillonnant (<em>Meet You There\u00a0!)<\/em>.
