{"id":33283,"date":"2022-04-22T11:14:50","date_gmt":"2022-04-22T10:14:50","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/couleursjazz.fr\/?p=33283"},"modified":"2022-04-22T11:18:13","modified_gmt":"2022-04-22T10:18:13","slug":"romain-pilon-falling-grace","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/couleursjazz.fr\/fr\/romain-pilon-falling-grace\/","title":{"rendered":"Romain Pilon &#8211; Falling Grace"},"content":{"rendered":"<h3 style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>Apr\u00e8s un parcours d&rsquo;excellence d\u00e9but\u00e9 par un s\u00e9jour au Berklee College dont il sortit dipl\u00f4m\u00e9 en 2004 et poursuivi par des rencontres formatrices avec Pat Metheny, Walter Smith III, Anne Paceo et l&rsquo;Amazing Keystone Big Band, Romain Pilon aborde ici, dans le contexte du trio et pour la premi\u00e8re fois de sa carri\u00e8re, des pi\u00e8ces rares du Great American Songbook. <\/strong><\/h3>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">Ressort de ce projet m\u00fbri et r\u00e9alis\u00e9 avec le plus grand soin, une musique d&rsquo;un haut standing valoris\u00e9e par des arrangements originaux apportant de nouvelles couleurs \u00e0 un r\u00e9pertoire d&rsquo;inspiration classique (rythme rumba de <em>Golden Earrings<\/em>, la composition de Victor Young datant de 1947, tempo funky de <em>Bye Ha<\/em> de Thelonious Monk, re-harmonisation de <em>Textures<\/em> d&rsquo;Herbie Hancock).<\/span><\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Romain Pilon Trio feat. Jeff Ballard : &quot;Lament&quot; (J.J. Johnson)\" width=\"1080\" height=\"608\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/StZCoK5Lqj0?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">S&rsquo;appuyant sur une technique acquise aux meilleures sources (Jim Hall, Grant Green, Pat Metheny), <strong>Romain Pilon<\/strong> n&rsquo;a pas son pareil pour r\u00e9v\u00e9ler les richesses d&rsquo;une ligne m\u00e9lodiques en d\u00e9veloppant de la fa\u00e7on la plus naturelle des solos construits avec rigueur et logique.
