{"id":31497,"date":"2021-06-07T23:22:34","date_gmt":"2021-06-07T22:22:34","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/couleursjazz.fr\/?p=31497"},"modified":"2021-06-07T23:21:54","modified_gmt":"2021-06-07T22:21:54","slug":"sons-of-kemet-black-to-the-future","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/couleursjazz.fr\/fr\/sons-of-kemet-black-to-the-future\/","title":{"rendered":"Sons of Kemet &#8211; \u00ab\u00a0Black to the Future\u00a0\u00bb"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Figure de proue de la nouvelle sc\u00e8ne jazz londonienne depuis quelques ann\u00e9es, <strong>Shabaka Hutchings<\/strong>, dont le pr\u00e9nom est emprunt\u00e9 \u00e0 un pharaon d&rsquo;Egypte, est \u00e0 la t\u00eate de trois formations aux formats diff\u00e9rents : \u00ab\u00a0<em>Shabaka And The Ancestors<\/em>\u00ab\u00a0, \u00ab\u00a0<em>The Comet Is Coming<\/em>\u00a0\u00bb et <strong>\u00ab\u00a0<em>Sons of Kemet<\/em>\u00ab\u00a0. <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>C&rsquo;est avec cette derni\u00e8re que le saxophoniste-t\u00e9nor, clarinettiste, fl\u00fbtiste et compositeur, \u00e2g\u00e9 de 37 ans, vient de graver \u00ab\u00a0<em>Black To The Future<\/em>\u00a0\u00bb (Impulse !\/Universal).<\/p>\n<p>Un album qui prend r\u00e9solument le contre-pied de ce qui se fait actuellement dans le monde confin\u00e9 du jazz, \u00e0 la fois au niveau musical et de son engagement, dans les textes, contre le racisme et en faveur de l&rsquo;identit\u00e9 noire.
