Le d\u00e9fi est de taille car des artistes de grande classe (Ella Fitzgerald, Billie Holiday, Sarah Vaughan, Louis Armstrong, Miles Davis&#8230;) ont laiss\u00e9 des t\u00e9moignages magistraux de ce r\u00e9pertoire.<\/h3>\n<p>En ressort un disque r\u00e9ussi r\u00e9pondant aux plus grandes exigences. Guy Mintus est un pianiste accompli, \u00e0 l&rsquo;aise dans le classique, le jazz et la musique orientale. La pr\u00e9cision et la s\u00fbret\u00e9 rythmique de son phras\u00e9 lui permettent de multiplier au gr\u00e9 d&rsquo;une imagination lyrique des variations sur le th\u00e8me et des digressions parfois inattendues mais toujours bienvenues qui s&rsquo;int\u00e8grent naturellement \u00e0 son discours en embellissant la m\u00e9lodie. Chez lui, la virtuosit\u00e9 n&rsquo;est pas une fin en soi mais reste toujours au service de l&rsquo;interpr\u00e9tation comme le montre sa version de <em>They Can&rsquo;t Take Away From Me<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>Naturellement volubile devant un clavier, Guy Mintus est aussi, par un heureux effet de constraste, un vocaliste au style sobre qui sait instaurer un climat en peu de notes (<em>The Man I Love<\/em>).
