{"id":29917,"date":"2020-11-18T07:49:24","date_gmt":"2020-11-18T06:49:24","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/couleursjazz.fr\/?p=29917"},"modified":"2020-11-16T13:14:34","modified_gmt":"2020-11-16T12:14:34","slug":"eric-seva-mother-of-pearl","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/couleursjazz.fr\/fr\/eric-seva-mother-of-pearl\/","title":{"rendered":"\u00c9RIC S\u00c9VA &#8211; MOTHER OF PEARL"},"content":{"rendered":"<h3>Pour \u00c9ric S\u00e9va, le terme m\u00e9tissage n&rsquo;est pas un vain mot, un pr\u00e9texte pour accrocher l&rsquo;auditeur ou un \u00e9ph\u00e9m\u00e8re slogan de marketing.<\/h3>\n<p>C&rsquo;est l&rsquo;un des ferments de sa musique inspir\u00e9e par des rencontres, des voyages ou une circonstance particuli\u00e8re comme la red\u00e9couverte de l&rsquo;album \u00ab\u00a0<em>Summit<\/em>\u00a0\u00bb grav\u00e9 par Gerry Mulligan et Astor Piazzolla en 1974, \u00e0 l&rsquo;origine de ce disque.<\/p>\n<p>On y trouve, au-del\u00e0 de la force expressive du dialogue complice entre les saxophones <strong>d&rsquo;\u00c9ric S\u00e9va<\/strong> et l&rsquo;accord\u00e9on de <strong>Daniel Mille<\/strong>, la solide charpente des arrangements du leader, auteur des compositions de cet opus (sauf <em>Summit, Close Your Eyes and Listen<\/em> \u00e9crites par Piazzolla).<\/p>\n<p>On y per\u00e7oit la force d&rsquo;une \u00e9criture \u00e9labor\u00e9e progressivement avec les albums \u00ab\u00a0<em>Espaces Crois\u00e9s<\/em>\u00a0\u00bb (2009), \u00ab\u00a0<em>Nomade Sonore<\/em>\u00a0\u00bb (2015) et \u00ab\u00a0<em>Body and Blues<\/em>\u00a0\u00bb (2017) et ici parvenue \u00e0 maturit\u00e9.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Eric S\u00e9va - Mother of Pearl\" width=\"1080\" height=\"608\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/by9R5trAjvU?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>Compl\u00e9tant ce duo, <strong>Alfio Origlio<\/strong> (piano, Fender Rhodes), <strong>Zaza Desiderio<\/strong> (batterie, percussions) et <strong>Christophe Wallemme<\/strong> (contrebasse) servent au mieux un projet auquel ils apportent leur talent et leur sensibilit\u00e9.
