Le voyage transversal annonc\u00e9 par le titre de l\u2019album d\u00e9bute par <em>Aminata<\/em>, une composition du chanteur gambien et sp\u00e9cialiste de la salsa, Laba Sasseh. Le ton est donn\u00e9. Wade et Lopez-Nussa se sont rencontr\u00e9s dans un club de jazz en Allemagne o\u00f9 l\u2019un rempla\u00e7ait \u00e0 l\u2019improviste le bassiste de l\u2019autre. Quelques mois plus tard, Wade a pris le chemin de Cuba pour proposer \u00e0 Lopez-Nussa de tisser ensemble la trame afro-cubaine de compositions qui ont marqu\u00e9 son univers. La bande son concoct\u00e9e \u00e0 La Havane sur fond de rumba navigue entre le succ\u00e8s de Cesaria Evora, <em>Petit Pays<\/em>, l\u2019incontournable standard du cha\u00e2bi, <em>Ya Rayah<\/em>, du compositeur Dahamane El Harrari, le tube des ann\u00e9es d\u2019ind\u00e9pendance, <em>D\u2019Ind\u00e9pendance Cha Cha<\/em>, de Grand Kall\u00e9 (Joseph Kabasel\u00e9), et bien d\u2019autres signatures dont celles des deux complices pour quelques in\u00e9dits. Avis aux amateurs, se sont rajout\u00e9s \u00e0 Paris sur certains titres quelques invit\u00e9s issus de \u00ab\u00a0University of Gnawa\u00a0\u00bb d\u2019Aziz Sahmaoui, dont le guitariste Herv\u00e9 Samb. The tone is set. Wade and Lopez-Nussa first met in a jazz club in Germany when Wade stepped in to replace the other\u2019s bassist. A few months later, Wade was off to Cuba to suggest to Lopez-Nussa they get together to weave the Afro-Cuban framework of the compositions that have defined his world. The soundtrack concocted in Havana on a Rumba background moves between Cesaria Evora\u2019s success<\/em> <em>Petit Pays<\/em>, <em>the essential cha\u00e2bi standard <\/em>Ya Rayah\u00a0<em>by composer Dahamane El Harrari, the hit from the independence years<\/em> D\u2019Ind\u00e9pendance Cha Cha <em>by the Grand Kall\u00e9 (Joseph Kabasel\u00e9), and many other signatures, including some new pieces by our two protagonists.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em> Fans take note, some guests from Aziz Sahmaoui\u2019s \u00ab\u00a0University of Gnawa\u00a0\u00bb joined them in Paris on certain titles, notably guitarist Herv\u00e9 Samb.
