Ces derni\u00e8res ann\u00e9es, le Tingvall Trio<\/strong> a encha\u00een\u00e9 les succ\u00e8s et s\u2019est propuls\u00e9 au plus haut niveau international, avec des compositions tr\u00e8s personnelles flirtant avec la pop, cr\u00e9ant un climat et un son imm\u00e9diatement reconnaissables. En r\u00e9sum\u00e9, trois Echo Awards pour \u00ab Le groupe de jazz de l\u2019ann\u00e9e<\/em> \u00bb et \u00ab Le concert de l\u2019ann\u00e9e<\/em> \u00bb en Allemagne, quatre Jazz Awards<\/em> respectivement pour la vente de plus de 10 000 disques pour leurs quatre albums : \u00ab\u00a0Skagerrak\u00a0<\/strong>\u00bb, \u00ab\u00a0Norr<\/strong>\u00a0\u00bb, \u00ab\u00a0Vattensaga<\/strong>\u00a0\u00bb et \u00ab\u00a0Vagen<\/strong>\u00a0\u00bb.
\nLe pianiste su\u00e9dois Martin Tingvall<\/strong>, le contrebassiste cubain Omar Rodriguez Calvo<\/strong> et le batteur allemand J\u00fcrgen Spiegel<\/strong> aiment surprendre par leur \u00e9nergie exub\u00e9rante et la limpidit\u00e9 de leur musique. C\u2019est la raison pour laquelle on les compare souvent au trio E.S.T. mais \u00e0 la diff\u00e9rence de ce dernier, le trio bas\u00e9 \u00e0 Hambourg produit ses sonorit\u00e9s inimitables en mode exclusivement acoustique.
\nPour leur nouvel album \u00ab Beat<\/em> \u00bb, les compositions d\u2019une beaut\u00e9 renversante, toutes issues de la plume de Martin Tingvall, alternent avec des titres \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9nergie fougueuse, o\u00f9 le jazz et le rock sont intimement li\u00e9s.<\/p>\n

Figure singuli\u00e8re et incontournable de la sc\u00e8ne jazz fran\u00e7aise et europ\u00e9enne, le pianiste et compositeur Jean-Pierre Como<\/strong> pr\u00e9sente pour les 15 ans du Festival une cr\u00e9ation exclusive m\u00ealant musique classique et jazz. Fid\u00e8le \u00e0 sa perception romantique de la musique, il nous entra\u00eene dans un voyage musical autour d\u2019une forme qu\u2019il affectionne tout particuli\u00e8rement, la sicilienne, et compose une v\u00e9ritable ode \u00e0 la m\u00e9lodie \u00e0 travers le temps.<\/p>\n

Jean-Pierre Como a choisi de faire appel au lyrisme du saxophoniste St\u00e9phane Guillaume<\/strong>, musicien remarquable et remarqu\u00e9 sur la sc\u00e8ne jazz fran\u00e7aise et europ\u00e9enne, qui se distingue \u00e9galement par sa culture et son int\u00e9r\u00eat pour la musique classique.<\/p>\n

S\u00e9duit par la sensibilit\u00e9 et la profondeur po\u00e9tique du violoniste\u00a0Christian Bri\u00e8re<\/strong>\u00a0depuis le projet \u00ab\u00a0L\u2019\u00c2me S\u0153ur<\/em>\u00a0\u00bb (compos\u00e9 et enregistr\u00e9 en 2006), il lui confie le soin de r\u00e9unir le quatuor \u00e0 cordes form\u00e9 pour l\u2019occasion, avec\u00a0Richard Schmoucler,<\/strong> violon,\u00a0Claudine Legras<\/strong>, alto et\u00a0Jean-Claude Auclin<\/strong>, violoncelle. \u00ab\u00a0L\u2019\u00c2me Soeur<\/em>\u00a0\u00bb avait en effet marqu\u00e9 de mani\u00e8re \u00e9clatante l\u2019int\u00e9r\u00eat de Jean-Pierre Como pour la musique classique comme source d\u2019inspiration.
\nIl poursuit sur cette voie int\u00e9rieure et profonde avec ce nouveau projet con\u00e7u selon une forme plus singuli\u00e8re, plus intime. L\u2019orchestration de cette nouvelle histoire revient \u00e0 Mich\u00e8le Penniello, qui a mis en sc\u00e8ne avec talent le lien entre les trois protagonistes : le pianiste, le saxophoniste et le quatuor \u00e0 cordes.<\/p>\n

Within the last few years, the <\/em>Tingvall Trio<\/strong> reached the highest internal level, with very personal compositions, flirting with pop music, and creating an atmosphere and a sound immediately recognizable. To summarize: three Echo Awards for \u201cJazz band of the year<\/strong>\u201d, and \u201cConcert of the year<\/strong>\u201d in Germany, four Jazz Award<\/strong> for selling more than 10.000 CDs <\/b>respectively for their four albums: \u201c<\/em>Skagerrak\u201d, \u201cNorr<\/strong>\u201d, \u201c<\/em>Vattensaga\u201d and \u201c<\/em>Vagen\u201d.<\/em>
\nThe Swedish pianist Martin Tingvall<\/strong>, the Cuban double-bassist Omar Rodriguez Calvo<\/strong>, and the German drummer J\u00fcrgen Spiegel<\/strong>, love to surprise with their exuberant energy and the clarity of their music. That\u2019s the reason why they are often compared to E.S.T Trio. However, Tingvall Trio is based in Hamburg and produces those inimitable sounds exclusively in acoustic.<\/em>
\nFor their new album \u201c<\/em>Beat\u201d, the extremely beautiful compositions are all written by Martin Tingvall and are offering tones full of fiery energy where jazz and rock are mixed. Omar Rodriguez expends his sound spectrum by playing with a bow, while J\u00fcrgen Spiegel expends his rhythmic range by introducing unusual percussions such as washboard or even picture frames\u2026<\/em>

As an emblematic figure of the French and European jazz scene, the pianist and composer Jean-Pierre Como<\/strong> is offering an exclusive creation for the Festival\u2019s 15th<\/sup> anniversary, mixing classical music and jazz. He will take you on a musical journey around a specific form that he particularly likes: \u201cThe Sicilian\u201d. In this way, he remains loyal to his romantic perception of music and composes true odes <\/b>to melody over time.<\/em>
\nJean-Pierre Como chose to call upon the saxophonist St\u00e9phane Guillaume\u2019s<\/strong> lyricism. This remarkable musician noticed on the French and European jazz scene is also distinguished by his culture and his interest in classical music. Jean-Pierre Como was also seduced by the violinist Christian Bri\u00e8re\u2019<\/strong>s sensibility and poetic depth. Since his project \u201c<\/em>L\u2019\u00e2me soeur\u201d (\u201cThe soul mate\u201d), composed and recorded in 2006, he entrusted Christian Bri\u00e8re to reunite string quartet for the occasion with the violinist Richard Schmoucler<\/strong> , the viola player <\/b>Claudine Legras<\/strong>, and the cellist Jean-Claude Auclin<\/strong>.<\/em>
\nIn fact \u201cThe soul mate\u201d was the starting point of Jean-Pierre Como\u2019s interest for classical music as a source of inspiration. He\u2019s pursuing on his deep interior path with this new project conceived in a less usual and more intimate way. Mich\u00e8le Penniello<\/strong>, who orchestrated this new story, reunited with talent, the pianist, the saxophonist, and the string quartet.<\/em><\/p>\n
