Ex-pianiste de <strong>Betty Carter<\/strong> et <strong>Abbey Lincoln<\/strong>, le jeune quinquag\u00e9naire poss\u00e8de un impressionnant cv de sideman, mais aujourd&rsquo;hui, c&rsquo;est en leader qu&rsquo;il s&rsquo;impose avec diff\u00e9rentes formations. Influenc\u00e9 par la musique <em>go-go<\/em> de son enfance Washingtonienne, Marc Cary est un redoutable rythmicien qui mixe les genres avec brio, du funk \u00e0 la musique indienne, jusqu&rsquo;\u00e0 la transe gnawa du ma\u00eetre Mustapha Bakbou. Former pianist of <strong>Betty Carter<\/strong> and <strong>Abbey Lincoln<\/strong>, the young fifties has an impressive CV as a sideman , but today is a leader that wins with different groups. Influenced by <\/em>go-go <em>music of his childhood in Washington, Marc Cary is an incredible rhythmist that mixes genres brilliantly, funk Indian music, to the <\/em>Gnawa trance<em> master <strong>Mustapha Bakbou<\/strong>.
