Le contraste entre le jeu sobre et d\u00e9contract\u00e9 du trompettiste, toujours \u00e0 la recherche de la note juste, et la rugosit\u00e9 expressionniste de Coltrane, d\u00e9j\u00e0 adepte des fameuses nappes sonores qui deviendront sa signature, est \u00e0 ce sujet significatif.
